Nashville based Tim Quick well known for his guitar playing in hit Broadway musicals, a film/TV composer and producer is our guest on episode 21 season 2 of Music Matters with Darrell Craig Harris

I met Tim way back when we toured on the Queen Symphony Show. Tim is well-known as the featured guitarist for NBC’s Emmy Award-winning Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert televised special. And, School of Rock The Musical.Tim has also performed alongside Alice Cooper, John Legend, and Dee Snider, as well as recording with multi-platinum selling producers such as Rob Cavallo and David Bottrill. for 2x Grammy Award winner Gloria Gaynor, he is also a member of the Bacon Brothers with whom he has spent the last three years as their guitarist, mandolinist, and backing vocalist.
If that wasn't enough! Tim has recently produced a 5 song EP album and the first track was released on May 07, 2021.  The second single “Tequila Blues” will be released on May 24, 2021. I had the pleasure of touring with Gary Puckett for a number of years and it was great to re-connect with him again - Just like old times. As you'll hear we covered a lot of ground in the hour that we spent chatting. I hope you enjoy this podcast as much as I did in making it. GARY PUCKETT and the UNION GAP was one of the most successful musical groups of the sixties.Gary's unmistakable signature voice garnered six consecutive gold records and top ten Billboard hits with the following titles:
"YOUNG GIRL" • "WOMAN WOMAN" • "LADY WILLPOWER" • "OVER YOU" • "THIS GIRL IS A WOMAN NOW""KEEP THE CUSTOMER SATISFIED" • "DON'T GIVE IN TO HIM" • "HOME"
GARY PUCKETT has performed on more than thirty network television shows and prime time specials during his career, even adding a command performance for the President and Prince Charles at the White House. The Union Gap disbanded in the seventies. In 1974, "Young Girl" was reissued in England where it received a silver record award for attaining a top-five position on the pop charts, several years after its initial release.
Gary continues to tour nationally & internationally, has a new album out now, "GARY PUCKETT - LIVE"
Gary currently resides in Clearwater, FL with his wife and family.

Niki Westerback – singer/songwriter and lead vocalist for the all-female rock-band Barbe-Q-Barbies is our special guest on episode 18, season 2 of Music Matters with Darrell Craig Harris

In this episode, I chat with one of my long-time friends Niki Westerback. Niki was discovered and encouraged to develop her singing skills by well-known vocal coach and record producer -Tracy Lipp of Helsinki Records. Since their first studio meeting, Niki has never looked back. Both her solo career and as the lead singer of the all-female heavy rock group - Barbe-Q-Barbies. Over the CV19 lockdown, Niki's was invited to provide multi-back vocals for the Euro-winning hard rock group - Lordi - Niki's successful solo singer/songwriter career is aptly titled Niki's Project, and her latest single 'Like a Clown' has just been released with poignant lyrics about being bullied.
