Georgina (a.k.a - George) Agombar and I first connected via Instagram - While I was impressed by her website and music, after chatting with her, I was very heartened to hear what George had to share. Listen in as we chat about how George has naturally discerned for herself at a young age what it takes to provide collaboration to support musical talent in helping them to personally identify what achieving success is in the new music industry. For me, George Agombar is a positive example of what is great about a new and up-and-coming group of young music entrepreneurs for 2021 and beyond.

Nashville based Tim Quick well known for his guitar playing in hit Broadway musicals, a film/TV composer and producer is our guest on episode 21 season 2 of Music Matters with Darrell Craig Harris

I met Tim way back when we toured on the Queen Symphony Show. Tim is well-known as the featured guitarist for NBC’s Emmy Award-winning Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert televised special. And, School of Rock The Musical.Tim has also performed alongside Alice Cooper, John Legend, and Dee Snider, as well as recording with multi-platinum selling producers such as Rob Cavallo and David Bottrill. for 2x Grammy Award winner Gloria Gaynor, he is also a member of the Bacon Brothers with whom he has spent the last three years as their guitarist, mandolinist, and backing vocalist.
If that wasn't enough! Tim has recently produced a 5 song EP album and the first track was released on May 07, 2021.  The second single “Tequila Blues” will be released on May 24, 2021. I had the pleasure of touring with Gary Puckett for a number of years and it was great to re-connect with him again - Just like old times. As you'll hear we covered a lot of ground in the hour that we spent chatting. I hope you enjoy this podcast as much as I did in making it. GARY PUCKETT and the UNION GAP was one of the most successful musical groups of the sixties.Gary's unmistakable signature voice garnered six consecutive gold records and top ten Billboard hits with the following titles:
"YOUNG GIRL" • "WOMAN WOMAN" • "LADY WILLPOWER" • "OVER YOU" • "THIS GIRL IS A WOMAN NOW""KEEP THE CUSTOMER SATISFIED" • "DON'T GIVE IN TO HIM" • "HOME"
GARY PUCKETT has performed on more than thirty network television shows and prime time specials during his career, even adding a command performance for the President and Prince Charles at the White House. The Union Gap disbanded in the seventies. In 1974, "Young Girl" was reissued in England where it received a silver record award for attaining a top-five position on the pop charts, several years after its initial release.
Gary continues to tour nationally & internationally, has a new album out now, "GARY PUCKETT - LIVE"
Gary currently resides in Clearwater, FL with his wife and family.

In this episode, I chat with one of my long-time friends Niki Westerback. Niki was discovered and encouraged to develop her singing skills by well-known vocal coach and record producer -Tracy Lipp of Helsinki Records. Since their first studio meeting, Niki has never looked back. Both her solo career and as the lead singer of the all-female heavy rock group - Barbe-Q-Barbies. Over the CV19 lockdown, Niki's was invited to provide multi-back vocals for the Euro-winning hard rock group - Lordi - Niki's successful solo singer/songwriter career is aptly titled Niki's Project, and her latest single 'Like a Clown' has just been released with poignant lyrics about being bullied. My chat with Waylon Revis, vocalist for 'A Killer Confession' and former 'Mushroomhead' vocalist was great fun while at the same time insightful. This is one happily married dude living in Florida. When listening to this chat I am sure like me you'll feel the clear sense that having faced personal adversity nothing now is gonna stop him from his razor-sharp focus to move forward in life. 
We cover lots of topics from his past, time with 'Mushroomhead'. How he has been dealing with life not touring due to CV19 and how he's preparing to go back out on tour and how he continues to develop his latest project 'A Killer Confession' and its music.  This was real quality time spent, and I hope we can do it again soon.

Singer Bucky Heard of the Righteous Brothers - well-known vocal coach and really nice all-round guy is our guest on Music Matters - episode 16 of season 2 - with Darrell Craig Harris

 
It's great to chat with Bucky Heard. He joined with  'The Righteous Brothers' in 2016 at the invitation of Bill Medley, who said he'd found not only an amazing voice, he also found the right chemistry pairing up with Bucky. Above and beyond singing with the Righteous Brothers, Bucky offers an online vocal singing coaching method he's developed called Vocal PREP Metrix. Working on a strong foundational balance between Pitch, Range, Endurance, and Power. Bucky Heard is also an actor/director/producer.- Bucky has also teamed up with The Righteous Brother guitarist John Wedemeyer. and they're well-known on the local Las Vegas music scene. Bucky and I also cover a lot of ground in this podcast and Bucky offer's great insight on dealing with the current situation and tips for longevity in the music business.
